Lecherous Nocturne
Lecherous Nocturne
Lecherous Nocturne is a five-piece extreme-metal band formed in late 1997 by guitarists Christian Lofgren, Chris Lollis, and vocalist Hohenstein. Fusing together technical influences from early death metal pioneers such as Gorguts and Morbid Angel, extreme black metal ala Marduk and Emperor, a few touches of grindcore, and lyrical themes reflecting war, S&M, and the Occult. With one self-titled, critically hailed EP under their belt, as well as destroying everything in their path providing opening support for well known acts such as IMMOLATION, NILE, INCANTATION, KREATOR, DESTRUCTION, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, GOATWHORE, KRISIUN, CONFESSOR, ANGELCORPSE, FEAR FACTORY, MACABRE and SUPERJOINT RITUAL, the Lecherous Nocturne has established themselves as an up and coming heavyweight in extreme metal, and obtaining a loyal following in the ever expanding southeastern scene. The lineup is now in its most solid form, with the addition of drummer Dallas Toler-Wade who plays guitar in Nile and bass player Mike Poggione of Monstrosity. The band is currently playing live shows throughout the east coast and finishing the recording process for their debut full-length album _x0018_Adoration of the Blade_x0019_ due in 2006 on Deepsend Records. This new onslaught promises to be one of the most original, extreme metal releases unleashed this year. Lecherous Nocturne is relentless in their pursuit of becoming one of the most intense live acts and consistently raising the bar for extreme metal. Keep an eye out for late Spring/early summer release on Deepsend Records. The band has uploaded unmastered versions of Kompagne and Release in Flame from their Adoration of the Blade album here: [url]
